With the Pike National Forest area abundant within the boundaries of Teller County, there is no lack of outdoor activity for family and friends – no matter what time of year. At an elevation of 8,465 feet, the city of Woodland Park truly is the "City Above the Clouds". We experience over 300+ days of sunshine a year. Cripple Creek serves as the county seat for Teller County and is home to many casinos as well.

Just outside of Victor is one of the largest Gold Mining operations in our Country. The Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mine is a true “gem” for our region.
